Fantastic and awesome location, in the nice garden. And not far from sightseeing, restaurants and shopping as well as Great Pulteney Street.

I enjoyed the lovely views from my room, especially of the Abbey and the rugby ground. The Double Room was spacious, with a comfy bed and a nice sofa. Clean towels and an adequate supply of tea and coffee. Getting in and out of the parking was a bit frustrating due to the arrangement of other guests' cars. The bathroom was small, and the water pressure wasn't great. Despite these issues, the charming decor and the short walk into the center of Bath were good.

Beautiful old and perfect hotel with lovely view of the hills and Bath town centre. Fairly friendly staff on reception and elsewhere. Exceptionally comfortable bed, beautiful bathroom and central heating, multi-channel TV, and a refrigerator in the room. Location - great and fantastic not far from art gallery and city centre as well as Cafes, Shops Restaurants and sightseeing.

Stayed at number 17 for one night and loved the spacious superior double room. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the city center. We especially appreciated the late checkout at 11am and the added convenience of leaving our car parked until 11:45am. The ambience of the hotel was charming, too.

Just a nice choice for a lightning stop in Bath with excellent value for money. We loved that our room provided a beautiful view across playing fields to Bath Abbey. Be aware that parking can be tricky during busy times.

The kitchen area was well-equipped with essentials like salt and pepper, and having a cozy sofa with a dining table. The decor was a step above what you usually find, giving it a nice luxurious vibe, and it's only a 10-minute walk to the sights.
The WiFi was a bit hit or miss, which can be a nuisance if you're planning on streaming or working. The bed in the conservatory room sagged in the middle and was quite low, which detracted from comfort . The shower lacked a strong water pressure-something to consider if you're a fan of a powerful rinse.
